Cameron University is now offering an MBA option that includes the additional Accounting courses necessary to prepare students for CPA certification. This unique program allows students who have a Bachelors degree with a major in accounting to complete outstanding requirements while simultaneously working toward an MBA.

Masters in Computer Science

This program emphasizes the software or programming aspects of computing, with research directed toward applied computing. Students should have experience with procedural programming languages, non-procedural languages, computer architecture or assembly language, data structures, operating systems, software engineering, and related mathematics. Masters in Control Systems Engineering

The MSCSE program is a free standing degree program offered by the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology. Four different schools within the College are participating in the program: Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. It is designed for both practicing engineers and scientists as well as full time graduate students. To participate in this program, you should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, an undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher, and the need to add new control engineering skills to better response to continuing career opportunities and responsibilities.

The Master of Education Degree is an advanced professional program designed to produce better classroom teachers at the elementary and secondary levels, by strengthening their mastery of both subject matter and techniques of teaching. The degree requires a minimum of 32-34 credit hours of course work.

Masters of Education Degree in Adult Education Management and Administration

This 36-credit hour program is designed to provide individuals who teach or train adult learners with a pedagogical foundation to effectively work with adult students. Admission into the graduate program is required. Upon admission, the candidate will be required to complete 12 credit hours of required core courses in education, six credit hours of required related education, and 18 credit hours of courses relevant to the candidate’s selected area of study.

The focus of the program is on the preparation of faculty and administrators for postsecondary educational institutions such as community and senior colleges, career and technical schools and other adult education programs.

Master of Education Degree, Non-Certificate Option with emphasis in E-Commerce

A non-certificate program leading to a Master of Education degree has been designed for students primarily interested in junior college teaching, non-school employment, and/or advanced graduate study in an academic area. Under this program option, student teaching or certification is not a requirement for admission. Students should be aware that this option program does not lead to elementary or secondary school certification. Ten credit hours are required of core subjects, 2-7 credit hours of graduate electives, and 15-20 credit hours in E-Commerce.

E-Commerce graduate courses may be chosen from those classes whose emphasis will be on a small business practicum, a business internship, or an entrepreneurship to allow students practical application of e-commerce which integrates concepts learned and philosophies developed in other e-commerce courses with real world experiences. Other E-Commerce courses are designed to provide the student with an understanding of the technical and managerial aspects of telecommunication, developing relational databases, designing websites, and advanced concepts of e-commerce law, policy and regulations.
