The Natural and Applied Sciences Master's program in
Health Care Administration is designed for individuals who seek to pursue a
career in the field of health care management. This graduate degree is
primarily designed for individuals with two to three years of experience who
are employed in the US Health Care Industry or as a health care professional
in other organizations. The program is designed to fit the schedules of
people employed on a full or part-time basis and who plan to take courses on
a part time basis (one or possibly two courses each semester). Most courses
are offered in three-hour blocks one evening a week and students typically
take about three years to complete the program.
The degree program provides knowledge of management concepts, processes and
techniques associated with management and administration functions in an
organization. This interdisciplinary degree program uses courses from the
MBA program, the Public Administration option in the Masters of Political
Science as well as Nutritional Sciences and other programs at OSU. With this
