The accounting program at Northwestern is designed to provide

If you have completed an Associate of Applied Science
degree in a technical field and have discovered that a Bachelor’s degree
would help you advance in your career, achieve higher job satisfaction, or
earn a higher salary, this is the degree for you. This degree can assist
technicians to advance into management positions. You will learn about
business management, communication, and marketing while advancing your

Bachelors in Business
Administration (BBA)
Students take classes from
Northwestern Oklahoma State University in accounting, finance, information
systems, marketing, and management to complete the BBA degree program. Eight
minors are now available: Business Administration, E-Commerce, Economics,
Accounting, Human Resource, Management, Marketing, & Management Information
Systems. The courses are broadcast through Interactive Television to the UC
studios in Ponca City. The BBA program is a popular degree program and one
that industry often requests.

Bachelors in Business Education
A major in Business
Education gives the student a diverse foundation and understanding for
accounting, general business, and education and information technology.
Graduates have the opportunity to teach coursework related to the business
education curriculum, which includes keyboarding, accounting, economics and
computer applications. The Business Education program requires 50 hours of
general education courses, 34 hours of professional education courses, and
42 hours of business-related courses.
